If a baby develops diaper rash, diapers should be changed frequently.  Never leave a baby in a wet diaper.  Diaper rash skin needs air, so try to allow as much bare bottomed time as possible.  When washing cloth diapers be sure that they are very well rinsed, and totally free of detergent & chemicals.  Make sure the cloth you use to wipe the baby's bottom with is damp.  A dry cloth will drag on the skin and irritate the little bum.  Prior to washing cloth diapers pre-soak them in a bucket of water and add 3 drops of lavender & 3 drops of tea tree.
